This week will continue to learn about the book of Revelation as we observe the scene in Heaven from chapters 4 and 5.

Revelation 4:11 

 11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
   to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
   and by your will they were created
   and have their being.”

The students will continue to learn about the book of Revelation.  We will be learning about chapters 2 and 3 about the 7 churches.

John 16:33 

      “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

We will be learning about the first chapter of Revelation this week.  The memory verse test is on Friday.

Revelation 1:8 

      “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

This week we start our study of the book of Revelation.  We will start with an overview of the book.

The memory verse test will be on Thursday because of the Servathon on Friday.

1 John 5:4b-5

This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.  Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

This week we will focus on our identity in Christ and how that should affect our self-esteem.  Our value is found in Christ and what we are worth to Him.  I call it Christ-esteem.

Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This week we will be learning from the book of 1 Peter and being conformed to the image of Christ.

1 Peter 1:14-15  
  14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;

This week we will be learning about what the Bible teaches us about Heaven and Hell.  The Bible verse test will be on Thursday.

Romans 6:23 
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Due to the delay on Friday 2/22, we will be having our Bible Tools Test on Tuesday Feb. 26.

This week the students will focus on the unchanging love of Jesus as compared to relationships of family and friends.

The memory verse test will be next Tuesday March. 5.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10  
9 Two are better than one,
   because they have a good return for their work:
10 If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to pick him up!

This week the students will learning to use tools to study the Bible such as commentaries, dictionaries, footnotes, and study bibles.  We will have a test on Friday using these tools.

We will be learning about the authenticity of the Word of God.  The memory verse test will be on Friday.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
